I feel fresh and clean after using this and just lightly use a non drying glycerin soap to make sure I get all the gel off my face. After showering I apply a wonderful moisturizer and just go. It's not as harsh as the microdermabrasion/chemical peel I use from Olay, but it's good for maintenance between those sessions.
